Returns, Refunds and Shipping Policy

We do not generally accept returns or exchanges on our jewelry collection, unless there is an issue with your order. The majority of our necklaces are made-to-order custom pieces. Please contact us at mariel@marielvillarreal.com within two weeks of your order's arrival date if there is an issue with your order so we can correct it. We cannot process returns/replacements after 14 days of your order's arrival date to your shipping address.
 

To request a replacement/repair, you can contact us at mariel@marielvillarreal.com within 7 days of your order's arrival date with a photo of the damaged item. If approved, the buyer is responsible for sending back the returned item. We will process your replacement once we have received back your damaged product. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues and Repairs and Replacements
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please contact us within 7 days of your order's arrival date if there is an issue with your order with photo evidence of the damaged item (as well as the packaging, if possible). We cannot process replacements after this time frame of you order's arrival date to your shipping address. Once this documentation is received, we will send out a replacement as soon as possible (US Only). 

 

For damaged international orders, we are happy to cover the replacement cost of the item that was damaged, but the customer will be responsible for the replacement shipping cost. 

 

For lost or stolen packages, the customer is responsible for contacting and filing a claim with USPS. Once the item has been passed to USPS, Embolden Co is no longer responsible for any lost or stolen items.

 

Embolden Co is not responsible for damages caused by improper handling.

Refunds 
If your item arrived damaged and you would like a refund instead of a replacement, please contact us within two weeks with your request and the photo of the damaged item. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return request, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded in store credit via an electronic gift card. All custom pieces are final sale. Thank you!

Shipping Policy

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. For domestic orders, we occasionally offer a flat shipping rate of $5 through USPS. All orders are processed within 5-7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Items in pre-order will ship at the indicated date. You will receive another email notification with tracking for shipping when your order has shipped. 

 

International Shipping

 

We offer international shipping. If we have an issue shipping to your country and cannot fulfill a shipment, we will notify you by email and issue you a full refund. 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. The Embolden Co. is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

 

Wrong Address

Embolden Co is not responsible for shipping addresses that are incorrect or entered wrong at check out and will not replace these items once they are shipped. Please double check and make sure you enter the correct shipping address!
